Managing ourselves from a Quadrant 2 base begins with writing out the rolls we see ourselves spending time in over the course of the next week.

  • Setting goals for what we want to accomplish in each of these rolls; all pertaining to the next week. These short term goals should, if at all possible, be tied to the long term goals that we should have written as a part of our mission statement.
  • Scheduling time during the week in order to carry our goals out.
  • Reviewing what we’ve planned out for the week at the start of each day; more easily adapting to any unexpected changes that might come up; all in a way that is more meaningful; falling in line with our core values and principles.
